BeeAlert is a community emergency and local information platform designed to help covered communities manage emergency reporting, verified resident access, community announcements, service requests, and emergency coordination.

2. Information We Collect

• Full name
• Username
• Birthday and age
• Mobile number
• Email address
• Home address or address details provided by the user
• Profile picture uploaded by the user
• Government ID images uploaded by the user for verification
• Selfie with ID for account verification
• Community membership and verification status
• App activity related to emergency reports, service requests, and community access
• Device or technical information necessary for app security, performance, and troubleshooting

3. Why We Collect This Information

• To verify whether a registrant is a real resident or qualified member of the covered community
• To prevent unauthorized persons from accessing resident-only community information
• To help authorized administrators review whether a user belongs to the covered area
• To prioritize emergency support, announcements, evacuation coordination, and community-only content
• To maintain app safety, prevent abuse, and keep community access restricted to qualified users
• To respond to user concerns, technical issues, and account-related requests

4. Government ID Verification

BeeAlert may request government ID images during account registration or verification. The purpose of this request is to help confirm that the user is a legitimate resident or qualified member of the covered community.

BeeAlert does not request government ID for advertising purposes. BeeAlert does not publicly display government IDs. Government ID information is used only for account review, resident verification, fraud prevention, and access control for community-specific services and features.

If a user is found not to belong to the covered community or service area, the registration may be rejected.

5. How We Use User Data

• Reviewing and verifying registrations
• Enabling access to resident-only features
• Processing emergency-related reports and community-related requests
• Allowing authorized personnel to manage legitimate community access
• Improving app performance, reliability, and security
• Investigating abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or misuse of the app

6. Data Sharing

BeeAlert does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

BeeAlert may share user data only in the following limited cases:

• With authorized community administrators or officials responsible for verifying community membership
• With service providers that help operate the app, such as hosting, database, storage, security, or technical support providers
• When required by law, lawful request, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security

7. Data Security

BeeAlert uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect user data. Personal and sensitive user data should be transmitted using secure technologies such as HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored user information is restricted to authorized personnel or service providers with a legitimate need to access it for app operations, verification, security, or support.

8. Data Retention

BeeAlert keeps personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

• Rejected registration records and uploaded IDs may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention, dispute handling, and audit purposes, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer retention period is required by law
• Verified account information may be retained while the account remains active
• If an account is closed or deleted, related personal data may be retained for up to 180 days for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, backup recovery, and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized unless required by law
• Emergency and service-related records may be retained for operational, safety, and legal purposes as reasonably necessary

9. Data Deletion Requests

When a valid deletion request is received, BeeAlert will review and process the request within a reasonable period, subject to any data that must be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of community safety rules.
